Rachel has been amazing since day 1 of us working together. I was struggling with a backlog of editing for wedding videos and Rachel came along and life has never been easier. She is amazingly talented at telling stories with my many video clips, she knows exactly how I would like them put together and she has been a wealth of knowledge through the past few months, always offering tips on how I can make better use of my equipment, and how I can improve my footage to enhance the final edit.

During my time as a creative director at Smooth Motion Pictures I've had the pleasure to work with Rachel on a number of projects.
She is a very experienced editor who is great at working under pressure and towards tight deadlines. The quality of her work has always been fantastic no matter what project she was involved in and I can only highly recommend her as an editor.
However when my daughter was born I realised that my time for editing was an odd half an hour here and there, which I could successfully edit images in, but the videos needed more attention than random half hour slots here and there. This is when I started looking for a video editor.

When I first found out I was pregnant one of my first concerns was how was I going to cope? I run a full time photography and videography wedding business and my diary was already full for the next two years, so taking on less work wasn't really an option - so I decided to begin outsourcing some editing.
Originally I planned to outsource my picture editing; I felt that sending someone my preset and my selected images was going to be a much 'safer' option than trusting someone to edit my videos. I felt that with video editing how could someone do a good job if they hadn't been at the wedding, picking up on the ambience of the day and bonding with the couple?

Where do I begin with expressing how INCREDIBLE Rachel is?
The best place to start would be to say - I am a absolute, total, straight up, self confessed PERFECTIONIST, so the thought of outsourcing my films was a real struggle for me. Surely no one could do it like I do? To my standards?
How wrong I was!
Rachel is a god-send and I honestly can’t imagine my business without her. From the second I enquired right through to sending over the edited films, she was reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable, approachable, honest and her work is of the highest standard. I was blown away when I received my first film back from me - and my couple were besotted with it.
